Tuesday 12.09.207, AIS & the parents of class 6-8 had a seminar with Salt Lab regarding ICAS (International Competition and Assessment for schools). It provides an international benchmark of learning progress that can be relied upon. ICAS does not assess how well students remember the content they have been taught. It assesses the higher order thinking and problem-solving skills needed for success in English, Mathematics, Science and Digital Technologies.
The response of the parents was positive. This will help us to pinpoint our students’ strengths- which skills they excel in and also to identify skill areas to be worked on, either for remediation or skill development.
